How to Fix Entrained Air, Sugary or Champagne Finish

Video shows what entrained air, also known as a sugary finish or champagne finish, looks like and explains why Graco air caps for air assist spray guns can fix the problem.

Too much atomization air or over agitation of the material can produce these conditions: entrained air or a sugary or champagne looking finish.

Graco air caps are designed to deliver the proper amount of air to a specific material.

Decrease the atomizing air or test a different air cap to improve the finish appearance.

Over agitation can produce air bubbles in the material as well. Reduce the agitation of the paint supply, if this is the case.
