Why do I need to replace the compressor oil after the first 50 hours of use? Why do I need to clean the air filter?

The compressor has a 50 hour break-in period and the oil will become contaminated with sediment from leftover machining debris and chips.

After the first oil change, it is recommended to change oil every 200 hours or 3 months, whichever comes first.

The compressor air filter should be cleaned frequently as the buildup of material/dust on the filter can reduce compressor performance.
