SYLGARD™ 170

Product Description:

SYLGARD™ 170 Fast Cure Silicone Elastomer is a two-part general purpose encapsulant with low viscosity, good flow ability and flame resistance that cures fast at room temperature. Supplied as a two-part liquid component kit, the Dow silicone encapsulants have a mix ratio of 1 to 1 that cures to a flexible elastomer. This thermally conductive material can be used in LED lighting, industrial controls, high voltage resistor packs and more. It is also sufficient in protecting the assembly of electrical/PCB systems. Application methods for this material include automated metered mixings and dispensing, which requires the right equipment to ensure proper ratios and process efficiency.
